At 224 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Charlemont, or 11 miles west of Greenfield, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE…Broadcast media. At 202 PM EDT, a wind gust to 56 mph was reported south of Pittsfield. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines. Locations impacted include… Plainfield, Colrain, Conway, Hawley, Buckland, Montague, Greenfield, Cummington, Leyden, Ashfield, Charlemont, Deerfield, Shelburne, Heath, Rowe, Goshen, Gill, and Worthington.

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…Canovanas, Carolina, San Juan and Trujillo Alto. * WHEN…Until 530 PM AST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 223 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
