Etna (Sicily, Italy): (6 May) A new effusive episode occurred at the Southeast Crater last night.
A new lava flow emerged on the eastern flank.
This marks 12th eruptive phase over the past two months.

Ibu (Halmahera, Indonesia): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 and is moving at 10 kts in S direction.
