At 220 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm south of Jeffersontown, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Shelbyville, Simpsonville, L S Park, Fisherville, Montclair, Joyes, Wilsonville, Olive Branch, Routt, and Veech.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following counties, Aibonito, Cayey and Salinas. * WHEN…Until 530 PM AST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 220 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area.
