* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…Central Cochise county, mainly near Sunizona. * WHEN…Until 1030 PM MST. * IMPACTS…Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 824 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. – This includes the following streams and drainages… Whitewater Draw, Turkey Creek, Witch Creek, Ash Creek, Pridham Creek and Stanford Creek. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Sunizona. – http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
