LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The state of Arkansas, FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration have added four new sites that offer face-to-face help for residents affected by the March 14-15 and April 2-22 severe storms, tornadoes and flooding. Hours are also extended at some sites.

Homeowners and renters in the impacted counties may be eligible for FEMA disaster assistance for losses not covered by insurance. Specialists are available to help you apply for FEMA assistance, review your existing application and submit documents needed to move your application forward.

The new locations and extended hours include:

CRITTENDEN COUNTY

Roberta Jackson Neighborhood Center

The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering (MANE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY, invites applications for a full-time teaching faculty position.  We are looking for applicants who can teach in a broad range of foundational areas, especially solid and fluid mechanics, thermal sciences, dynamics, and design.  We will also consider candidates working in other areas that will bring additional dimensions to MANE’s teaching mission.  This appointment may be made for three to five years, and is renewable, contingent upon available funding, enrollment, satisfactory performance, and the business needs of the School of Engineering.

Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Nucleaer Engineering, or a closely related field. The successful candidate must actively and meaningfully contribute to the core teaching mission of MANE, and engage in department, institute, and professional service activities.

We will also consider candidates working in other areas of aerospace engineering that will bring additional dimensions to MANE’s teaching mission.  This appointment may be made for three to five years, and is renewable, contingent upon available funding, enrollment, satisfactory performance, and the business needs of the School of Engineering.  

Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field and have professional experience in the field.  For the Professor of Practice position, the candidate must have substantial leadership experience and a national or international reputation for excellence
