The citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake reported a magnitude 2.8 quake in Cyprus near Paphos, Pafos, only 8 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early afternoon on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at 3:55 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10. km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Pentalia (pop. 71) located 3 km from the epicenter, Konia (pop. 2,200) 14 km away, Emba (pop. 5,500) 16 km away, Geroskipou (pop. 8,400) 17 km away, Paphos (pop. 36,000) 17 km away, and Chlorakas (pop. 6,400) 18 km away.
