Pacific moisture and an approaching weather system will bring periods of light snow along the Northern Rocky Mountain Front tonight into Tuesday morning. Sections of US highway 2 near Marias Pass may see a wet 2 to 4 inch snowfall with some roadway accumulation causing slippery driving conditions. Accumulations near the East Glacier and Saint Mary areas will generally be less than 2 inches. Anyone with travel plans tonight into Tuesday morning should plan for variable road conditions along the Northern Rocky Mountain Front, including slippery roads and reduced visibility below one mile. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination if traveling.
