Position overview
Salary range: The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment. See the following table for the current salary scale for this position: https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2025-26/represented-july-2025-scales/t15.pdf. TSP hourly rate $65. The current full-time salary range for Lecturer positions is $75,301 – $199,722. Starting salary is commensurate with highest degree, teaching experience, and equity within the department.

Percent time: Lecturers: 7% to 100% in any given semester
TSP: Hourly (4 -40 hours per week)

Anticipated start: Positions usually start in January, various times throughout the summer and August.

Position duration: Positions can be one semester or academic year
