Collaborate in the implementation of the power conversion chain between the AC power grid and the electrolyser. Studying bidirectional voltage and current power semiconductors and the respective requirements for driver circuits. Collaboration in the development of the experimental prototype of the AC/DC power conversion chain. Collaborate on the implementation of the digital controller for the converters. Write the grant activity report.

Academic Qualifications

Electrical Engineering or similar

Minimum profile required

Knowledge of power electronic systems, in particular AC/DC power conversion systems. Knowledge in embedded systems (ex. arduino, raspberry pi, etc.);

Work description

This work will begin with a study and analysis of AI techniques, inclusing Generative AI (GenAI), and about its applications to software engineering challenges. Next, the viability of using these technologies integrated with Agentic TAGs in industrial contexts will be studied through the development of prototypes. These prototypes will be quantitatively and qualitatively validated. The necessary steps for prototype implementation will ve described so that the work can be reproduced.

Academic Qualifications

Degree student of Informatics and Computing Engineering or similar;

Minimum profile required

• Knowledge of software engineering and agile methodologies

Preference factors

• Experience in software development; • Experience in AI-based software development, namely GenAI.

Maintenance stipend: € 651.12, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation

Analyze the current prototype of the air quality meter. Review the electronic circuit used in the meter. Update the control code of the meter. Enhance the existing communication system. Create an intuitive dashboard for data presentation. Develop a new case for the meter.

Minimum profile required

Experience using microcontrollers such as Arduino and/or Raspberry Pi. Practical knowledge of sensors for measuring environmental variables such as temperature, humidity, gases, and particles. Experience with communication protocols. Knowledge in CAD design. Experience with 3D printing and CNC.

Preference factors

Knowledge in IoT concepts. Integration capacity of HW and SW for sensors. Experience with communication protocols like MQTT.
