At 203 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Ekalaka, moving northeast at 35 mph. Other storms may develop in the same vicinity. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Ekalaka, Medicine Rocks State Park, Webster, Willard and Mill Iron.

Klyuchevskoy (Kamchatka): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 40000 ft (12200 m) altitude or flight level 400 and is moving at 20 kts in E direction.
