This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

At 1109 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Prairieville to near Franklin. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… French Settlement, Geismar, Garyville, Gonzales, Supreme, Donaldsonville, Killian, Whitehall, Paincourtville, White Castle, Convent, North Vacherie, St. Gabriel, Lutcher, Port Vincent, Prairieville, Wallace, Sorrento, Gramercy, and Village St. George. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 166 and 201.
