These strong winds will cause difficult driving on area roads during the morning commute, especially for high profile vehicles. In addition, loose objects will be easily blown around. The winds are expected to decrease later this morning and into the afternoon.

Dry conditions and gusty winds will lead to near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon. Easterly winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts from 25 to 35 mph are forecast. Minimum relative humidity values of 20 to 30 percent are also expected. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.
