Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. At 624 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles south of Tarboro, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Greenville, Farmville, Bethel, Stokes, Bell Arthur, House, Bruce, Pitt Greenville Airport, and Falkland.
