For the Coastal Flood Statement, through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS…Some water on low lying roads and property. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…As TS Fung-wong continues west-northwest passing to the north-northwest of Yap, surf is expected very slowly subside over the weekend as swell from Fong-wong decreases. High surf paired with the King Tide high tide cycles will also result in minor coastal inundation and increased erosion.

Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE…Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit Counties. * WHEN…Until 10 AM PST Friday. * IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible at the higher elevations of the North Cascades, including across Highway 20 across Rainy and Washington Passes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The highest elevations within the Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit counties could receive nearly 3 feet of snow through Friday morning.
