…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers… Scioto River at Circleville. …The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers… Scioto River at Piketon. * WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE…Scioto River at Circleville. * WHEN…Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS…At 21 feet, flood waters approach structures west of Circleville along Mill and Canal Roads, as well as Island Road and State Route 762. Backwater flooding can be expected near Big Darby Creek, with flooding near the Scioto river junction with Little Walnut Creek at the nature preserve along U.S. 23. Backwater flooding along Hargus Creek also floods some of Ted Lewis Park in Circleville.

At 1228 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located 12 miles south of Thomasville, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD…Damaging tornado. SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado. IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Leon, southeastern Grady and southwestern Thomas Counties.
