At 215 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Dinwiddie, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Prince George and eastern Dinwiddie Counties and the southern City of Petersburg, including the following locations… Petersburg Airport, Richard Bland College, Burgess, Templeton, Addison, and Reams.
