At 311 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm near Sapulpa, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations in or near the path include… Sapulpa… Jenks… Glenpool… Jenks Riverside Airport… Bixby… Kellyville… Kiefer… Tulsa… Sand Springs… Broken Arrow… This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 203 and 226.

At 411 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing moderate to heavy rain across Orocovis. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Landslides are possible in areas of steep terrain. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
