Fog has developed across portions of eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois early this morning. The fog could become locally dense with visibilities down to a quarter mile. Conditions will improve by the mid morning as temperatures warm up and the fog gradually dissipates. Motorists should exercise caution as visibilities may change suddenly over very short distances.
