Dry conditions will lead to near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values of 15 to 30 percent are expected with south winds of 10 to 15 mph. Any areas with dry grasses or vegetation that have not greened up yet will be susceptible. Check with the Wisconsin DNR or your local county before attempting any outdoor burning.

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of central Alabama, including the following counties, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Randolph, St. Clair and Talladega. * WHEN…Until 630 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 329 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
