At 819 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near New Kent, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… West Point, King And Queen Court House, Stevensville, Center Cross, Dunnsville, Jamaica, Little Plymouth, Church View, Laneview, Howertons, Nesting, Upright, Bowlers Wharf, Ino, Cohoke, Dragonville, Montague, Rose Garden, Lanesville, and Crouch.

Some patchy dense fog will restrict visibilities to one- quarter of a mile or less across parts of inland southeast Georgia and inland northeast Florida. The fog should lift by 930 to 10 AM. The nature of the fog is such that visibilities will vary greatly over short distances. Motorists should be alert for rapidly changing conditions.

Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Strong winds may move loose debris, result in minor damage property, and cause sporadic power outages. Travel could become difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
