* WHAT…Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of east central New Mexico, including the following county, central Quay. * WHEN…Until 530 AM MDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 224 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms between San Jon and Tucumcari. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. –

Locations impacted include… Bennettsville, Maxton, Mccoll, Rowland, Clio, Raemon, Purvis, Dunbar, Minturn, Elrod, and Tatum. This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 3 and 7.
