At 628 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Jay Em to near Lingle. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Torrington, Van Tassell, Prairie Center, Goshen County Fairgrounds, and Hwy 85 At Dry Rawhide Creek.

At 630 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Wye, or near Missoula, moving west at 5 mph. HAZARD…Penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Missoula, Lolo, Wye, and Frenchtown. This includes the following highways… Interstate 90 near mile marker 81, and between mile markers 88 and 104. Highway 93 N between mile markers 0 and 4. Highway 93 S between mile markers 87 and 94.
