At 430 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Hoyt to 9 miles south of Cottonwood Valley, or extending from 22 miles southwest of Fort Morgan to 17 miles north of Limon, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Cottonwood Valley, Shamrock, Adena, Leader and Hoyt.
