An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred only 7 minutes ago 25 km southeast of Monkayo, Philippines, Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate to considerable depth of 215. km beneath the epicenter near Monkayo, Davao de Oro, Davao, Philippines, in the afternoon on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, at 5:17 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
