At 1107 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout near Toronto, or 9 miles east of Estelline, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD…Landspouts, wind gusts up to 40 mph, and pea size hail. SOURCE…Trained weather spotters. There have been reports of funnels near White, South Dakota. IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
