THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 210 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING IN OHIO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL OHIO GUERNSEY HARRISON JEFFERSON OH MUSKINGUM IN WEST VIRGINIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN THE NORTHERN PANHANDLE OF WEST VIRGINIA HANCOCK THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF CADIZ, CAMBRIDGE, STEUBENVILLE, WEIRTON, AND ZANESVILLE.

At 225 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near St. Paris, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 45 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include… Thackery, North Hampton, Westville, Lippincott, Powhattan, Urbana, Catawba Station, Terre Haute, State Route 41 at State Route 235, Christiansburg, Dialton, Tremont City, St. Paris, and Northridge.
