At 1157 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles southeast of Andrews to 3 miles northeast of Blairsville. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Mountain City, Lake Rabun, Cashiers, Otto, Rainbow Springs, Pine Mountain, Whiteside Mountain, Clayton, Tiger, and Lake Burton.
