* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of south central Arizona, including the following county, Maricopa. * WHEN…Until 600 AM MST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 405 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Phoenix, Scottsdale, New River, Cave Creek, Carefree, Desert Mountain, Desert Ridge

An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred only 6 minutes ago 81 km southwest of Pagar Alam, Indonesia, Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.
The quake hit at a moderately shallow depth of 33. km beneath the epicenter near Pagar Alam, Lahat Regency, Sumatera Selatan, Indonesia, in the afternoon on Monday, June 2nd, 2025, at 5:41 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Pagar Alam (pop. 70,400) located 81 km from the epicenter, Bengkulu (pop. 373,600) 103 km away, and Bengkulu (pop. 373,600) 103 km away.
