* WHAT…Water levels rising 4 to 5 feet above the normal high tide line for Wales, 3 to 4 feet above the normal highest tide line for Diomede, and 5 to 6 feet above the normal highest tide line for Brevig Mission and Teller. * WHERE…Bering Strait Coast. * WHEN…Until 4 PM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS…Water in the lagoon at Brevig Mission may fill and can surround some buildings. Water may flood Port Clarence Road. In Teller, portions of Front Ave may be flooded, water may approach the fuel pump, and air strip access may be threatened. Tin City post office may flood and water may surround the fuel storage tanks.

* WHAT…Water levels rising 4 to 6 feet above the normal high tide line. * WHERE…Northwest Arctic Coast. * WHEN…Until 4 AM AKDT Friday. * IMPACTS…Water levels in Wainwright will rise 4 to 6 feet above the normal high tide line beginning Wednesday afternoon. Peak water levels will arrive late Wednesday night into Thursday morning (11 PM to 6 AM) then receed gradually through Thursday night/Friday morning. West-southwest winds on Wednesday, then northwest on Thursday, sustained around 25 to 40 mph have been known to cause damage and coastal flooding in the Village of Kivalina in the past.
