The combination of wet soils and clear skies has led to the development of widespread, patchy fog this morning. Visibility in some locations has been reduced to one half to even one quarter of a mile. While clear skies through daybreak should allow fog to burn off rather quickly, motorists should exercise caution early this morning as visibilities could change rapidly. Use low beam headlights, reduce speeds, and leave extra distance between yourself and the vehicle in front of you.

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Oklahoma… Cimarron River near Waynoka affecting Woods, Woodward and Major Counties. * WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE…Cimarron River near Waynoka. * WHEN…Until this afternoon. * IMPACTS…At 8.0 feet, Bankfull conditions exist along the river… and some overflows may occur over some low-lying areas near the river. The river reach affected extends from near Freedom upstream… to the U.S. Highway 281 crossing south of Little Sahara State Park near Waynoka… to near Orienta in Major County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.1 feet. – Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. –
