An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred only 7 minutes ago 66 km north of Laoag, Philippines, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10. km beneath the epicenter near Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos, Philippines, in the morning on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, at 10:29 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
