At 726 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking several clusters of strong thunderstorms in the advisory area. The strongest cell was located 9 miles west of Morgan City, or 11 miles east of Hartselle. All storms were moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 40-50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Grant, Valhermoso Springs, Guntersville, Columbus City, Cole Springs, Morgan City, Lake Guntersville St Park, Eddy, Laceys Spring, and Florette.
