At 258 PM MST /358 PM MDT/, stream gauges on the Moenkopi Wash, located just south of the Village of Moenkopi, indicated levels have risen about 9.8 feet. The wash is now in major flood stage at that point and still rising slowly. HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE…Automated stream gauges. IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers… Moenkopi Wash, Hamblin Wash and Begashibito Wash.
