Patches of dense fog have developed early this morning, especially in sheltered valley locations. This fog should lift through 9AM. Until then, visibility may be locally reduced to a quarter mile or less. Motorists should use extra caution, leave extra travel time and following distance, and use low beam headlights in fog.
