Water levels of 2 to 4 feet above the normal high tide line * WHERE…Coastal locations from the Seward Peninsula to Yukon Delta. * WHEN…From 4 AM Monday to 1 PM AKDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS…Localized beach erosion may occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The highest water looks to be Monday afternoon into Tuesday. 2 to 4 feet should be expected along the Southern Seward Peninsula and Eastern Norton Sound, with around 2 feet in the Yukon Delta.

Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 417 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. At 316 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Slayden, or 11 miles north of Holly Springs, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Holly Springs, Lamar, Byhalia, Mt Pleasant, Red Banks, Slayden, Moscow, Coal Oil Corner, Cayce, Victoria, Hudsonville, Early Grove, Taska, Atway, Mack, and Mahon.
