Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. At 1204 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles east of Ekalaka, moving north at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Mill Iron, Webster and Medicine Rocks State Park.

Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is expected. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flows. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
