Air Quality Advisory for Sunday August 3, 2025, through Monday August 4, 2025 The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has issued an Air Quality Advisory for elevated levels of fine particulate (PM2.5) across the state of Michigan. Pollutants are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG, Orange AQI) range with some areas reaching Unhealthy (Red AQI) range. At 1159 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Raiford, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts around 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Raiford, Macclenny, Maxville, Lawtey, and Ellerbee.

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has declared an Air Quality Advisory for elevated levels of fine particulate (PM2.5) in parts of southwest Michigan. Pollutants within those areas are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG, Orange AQI) range. The Air Quality Advisory includes all Michigan counties.
