SVRPUB The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for… North central El Paso County in east central Colorado… * Until 445 PM MDT. * At 418 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gleneagle, or 18 miles north of Colorado Springs, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central El Paso County.

At 417 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 26 miles east of Garrison, or 32 miles east of Baker, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Millard County. This includes US Route 6 between mile markers 25 and 52.
