At 322 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southwest of Sleepy Eye, or 16 miles west of New Ulm, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include… New Ulm, St. James, Sleepy Eye, Butterfield, Hanska, Comfrey, Darfur, La Salle, Evan, Cobden, Sveadahl, Essig, New Ulm Airport, Flandrau State Park and Searles.

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…Guayanilla, Juana Diaz, Penuelas, Ponce and Yauco. * WHEN…Until 615 PM AST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 421 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
