Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. At 225 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Turkey, or 9 miles east of Booneville, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Jackson, Keck, Hardshell, Copland, Copebranch, Noctor, Rock Lick, Wilstacy, Frozen Creek, Quicksand, Canoe, Lerose, Gentry, Elkatawa, Inverness, Chenowee, Haddix, Taulbee, Crockettsville, and Saldee.
