HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Moderate to heavy snow will continue to fall across the Beaverhead and Western Madison County Valleys, with 1 to localized 2 inches of slushy snow accumulations. With surface temperatures near freezing this morning elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses, along with where roads are shaded from hills and tress, may become slippery. Travelers should be prepared for winter driving conditions, along with reduced visibilities to as low as one half of a mile. Slow down, allow extra time to travel this morning, and be prepared for changing road conditions.
