* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…Salinas. * WHEN…Until 530 PM AST. * IMPACTS…Some low-water crossings may become impassable. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 224 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area, particularly along Parcelas Vazquez Creek impacting PR-1. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Williamson, Delbarton, Holden, Red Jacket, Chattaroy, Buskirk, Matewan, Chauncey, Myrtle, Naugatuck, Dingess, Varney, Lenore, and Switzer. This includes Route 119 between mile markers 1 and 23.
