Northwesterly winds will be sustained between 20 to 25 MPH, with gusts up to 45 MPH possible this afternoon for areas along and north of I70. Sustained winds around 15 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH area possible for areas south of I-70. Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Use extra caution while driving this afternoon, especially if driving a high profile. Additionally, patchy frost is possible in low lying or sheltered areas late tonight into Wednesday morning. Take precautions now to cover sensitive vegetation.

At 208 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Cogan Station to Laurelton Center. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Jerseytown, Montoursville, Lairdsville, Allenwood, Williamsport Airport, West Milton, Northumberland, Sunbury, Forest Hill, Shamokin Dam, Mooresburg, Kratzerville, Garden View, Biggertown, Sand Bridge State Park, Williamsport, Iola, Millville, Stonington, and Watsontown.
