Southwest winds gusting as high as 45 mph, strongest along Shelikof Strait. * WHERE…South to west sides of Kodiak Island. * WHEN…Until 8 AM AKDT this morning. * IMPACTS…Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Southwesterly winds will strengthen through the day today and combine with falling snow to severely limit visibility. The worst conditions will be along and near Shelikof Strait. Snowfall and winds will both diminish Monday morning.
