HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Thomas, southeastern Cheyenne, southwestern Rawlins and northeastern Sherman Counties in northwestern Kansas.

At 1124 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northwest of Codman, or 11 miles west of Miami, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD…Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Minor damage to roofs, siding, and trees is possible. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Roberts County.
