At 1123 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking heavy rain near Elk Run Heights, or 8 miles east of Waterloo, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Mount Auburn, Wapsipinicon Golf Course, Lamont, Fontana County Park, Monti, Aurora, Jesup, Otterville, Minne Estema Park, Jakway Park, Quasqueton, Winthrop, Lime Creek County Park, Winthrop Golf Course, Independence, Rowley, Brandon, Littleton, Buchanan County Fairgrounds, and Hazleton. This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 47 and 55.
