At 219 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 13 miles southeast of Perry, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Mayo, Perry, Pinland, Tennille, Cooks Hammock, Clara, Chancey, Secotan, Boyd, Smith, Buckville, Carbur, Alton, Mayo Junction, Townsend, Foley, Salem, Perry-Foley Airport, Bucell Junction, and Athena.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Clegg and Simmons. This includes the following highways… US Highway 281 between mile markers 626 and 630.
