At 428 PM MDT/528 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles south of Haigler, or 12 miles northwest of St. Francis, moving north at 75 mph. HAZARD…Tornado. SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Yuma County in northeastern Colorado and western Cheyenne Counties in northwestern Kansas.
