At 515 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Estill Springs to 6 miles east of New Market to Huntsville to near Decatur. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, Scottsboro, Winchester, Guntersville, Arab, Rainsville, Bridgeport, and Moores Mill.

At 508 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm near Webbers Falls, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations in or near the path include… Sallisaw… Mc Key… Keota… Vian… Gore… Tamaha… Webbers Falls… This includes Interstate 40 in Oklahoma between mile markers 279 and 305.

Areas of patchy dense fog have developed around the area this morning. Visibility could quickly become a 1/4 mile or less in some locations. Fog is expected to burn off by 9AM. Use caution if traveling this morning and be sure to leave extra distance be between you and the vehicle in front of you.
