At 1128 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Maramec to near Avery to 3 miles east of McLoud, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of northwest Oklahoma, including the following counties, Ellis, Harper and Woodward. * WHEN…Until 130 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1127 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area.
